BlazeMaster® Fire Sprinkler Systems from The Lubrizol Corporation offered opportunities for education and entertainment at the 2015 AFSA Convention & Exhibition in Phoenix, Arizona, back in October 10–13. As part of this year’s convention, AFSA in Phoenix, Rising to Excellence, BlazeMaster hosted a seminar entitled CPVC Fire Sprinkler Piping Systems: Overview, Common Questions, and Compatibility.
Designed for fire protection engineers and system installers, the education session provided an overview of the benefits of CPVC fire sprinkler systems, the history of the product, performance characteristics, solvent welding techniques and more. Donald Townley, Lubrizol CPVC’s global manager of codes and approvals lead the seminar, sharing insight and expertise from more than 21 years of experience in CPVC piping technology.
“The BlazeMaster team was excited to be a part of this year’s AFSA convention,” said Mark Knurek, regional market manager, Lubrizol CPVC. “The theme, Rising to Excellence, is a perfect fit for the event, which continually offers educational opportunities to help fire protection professionals excel in their field and is a great chance to network with fellow attendees.
Throughout the event, industry professionals stopped by the BlazeMaster booth to see how CPVC offers a superior solution for the fire protection industry across numerous applications, including commercial spaces. Attendees learned first-hand about using BlazeMaster systems in healthcare facilities, offices, single and multifamily residences and any light-hazard application as defined by NFPA 13, 13R and 13D.
For more than 30 years, BlazeMaster has been a leader in advancing fire protection technology, giving contractors and installers improved cost savings and ease of installation when compared to competing metallic fire sprinkler systems. Created from superior Lubrizol CPVC compounds and innovated through unmatched R&D services, BlazeMaster provides trusted performance in residential and commercial applications.
