B2W Software, a leading provider of enterprise-class construction software, services and solutions, announced that C.A. Hull is leveraging the company’s suite of construction software to streamline enterprise-wide operations. The full-service bridge and heavy civil construction specialist headquartered in Walled Lake, Michigan uses B2W Software’s EstimateDispatchMaintain and Track elements as a single, unified platform to eliminate inaccurate data and provide real-time information for more efficient operations and analytical business decisions.

“It’s sometimes difficult for the field personnel to accept new processes and software applications,” said C.A. Hull vice president, Dave Turner. “But after using B2W, their reaction was unexpected — they found it easy to use from the start. We were not used to this sudden, positive response when introducing new technology.”
The company began its initial experience with B2W Estimate and then implemented the additional field tracking, dispatch and equipment maintenance elements that now comprise B2W Software’s ONE (Operational Networked Elements) Platform.
“C.A. Hull exemplifies how our unique approach to unified data and networked elements delivers powerful advantages,” explains Paul McKeon, CEO of B2W Software. “With a cohesive software platform and a single operational database, the company has minimized inaccuracy and redundancy, improved process efficiency and expanded access to real-time data for operations and analytics.”
According to Turner, B2W Estimate has provided a well-organized, logical platform for estimating and bidding, allowing C.A. Hull to standardize the process. Bid data can also be integrated directly into the company’s accounting system for budgeting.
“With B2W Track, we receive more accurate and timely information to adjust our operations,” according to Turner. “The real-time data provides us the ability to adjust work items anytime and have the field personnel review and react to situations before it’s too late.”
C.A. Hull uses B2W Maintain to manage equipment repair requests, preventive maintenance and the scheduling of work orders. B2W Dispatch provides a central, on-line job board, allowing managers and field personnel to see equipment and material requests, availability and locations.
