Apollo Global Management has agreed to buy CEC Entertainment, the parent of children’s restaurant and entertainment chain Chuck E. Cheese, in a $1.3 billion deal. Apollo will pay $948 million, or $54 per share, and assume the Texas-based chain’s $370 million in debt. Chuck E. Cheese operates 577 restaurants in 47 states. Read the Chicago Tribune story here.
