Albertsons is piloting a contactless pickup program using an automated, temperature-controlled kiosk that stores orders and allows customers to access them with their smartphones. The first PickUp Kiosk, created by Cleveron, is now operating at a Jewel-Osco store in Chicago and plans call for a second to open soon at a Safeway site in San Francisco.
