Tony Rader, Vice President at National Roofing Partners in Fort Worth, TX has been named 2019 National Chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors.
Tony has stood out in the industry for his commitment to safety – putting workers’ safety before anything else is non-negotiable for Tony – and his commitment to workforce development: making a career in construction accessible formeveryone who wants to work hard. This includes those who need a second chance (former convicts and the homeless) and young people who are often not aware of all of the opportunities in construction.
As national chair, Tony plans to:

Collect the number of hours member companies spend on safety training as well as the number of people trained.
•
Use this data to establish standards and benchmarks for ABC member companies.
•
ABC will use this information and the data from Safety Performance Report to create proactive steps to avoid incidents.
