Cannon & Wendt Electric Co., one of the leading electrical service firms in the Valley, announced the promotion of six leadership team members at the firm. The promotions are part of Cannon & Wendt’s plans to grow their leadership group to help meet the demands of today’s construction world. The promotions took effect on January 1

Leading the promotions are Sterling Woods and David Goris. Woods will continue to lead the firms’ Field Operations as Senior Vice President and Goris is being elevated to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Advisor. Woods has been with Cannon & Wendt since 1984 and is the longest tenured employee at the company. Goris has been working in the contracting industry for 29 years, the last six with Cannon & Wendt.

“We look forward to Dave and Sterling remaining steadfast in our pursuit to create an ESOP environment unmatched by any other company, while providing growth for all stakeholders,” said Cannon & Wendt President Shane Snyder.

There were also four managers that received promotions into Vice President roles with the company. Bryce Godard is now the Vice President of Preconstruction & Design; Chuck Celaya the Vice President of Construction Services; Sean Goneau is the Vice President of Service & TEGG and Joe Aikens is the Vice President of Technologies.

Godard has been with Cannon & Wendt for more than 21 years, beginning as a project manager and steadily moving up to his current position. Celaya began working at the company in 1988 as an apprentice electrician and has played a large role in many major projects for the company. Goneau joined the company in 2015 and has been a driving force behind much of the implementation of technologies that make processes easier and more efficient. Aikens has been with Cannon & Wendt for more than 8 years and has led initiatives to widen the firms’ reach.

“The breadth of knowledge amongst these individuals is remarkable and the potential for growth and opportunity is unlimited,” added Snyder. “We are so excited to see where these new roles take them.”
