Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national developer, designer, builder, capital markets partner and real estate manager offering full-service commercial real estate solutions, announced today the appointment of Bill Wikle as Vice President of Development. The new hire reflects Ryan’s commitment to expanding the region’s industrial portfolio, with over 1.6 million square feet of industrial projects in the pipeline for 2022.
As one of Ryan’s key hires in the Southeast, Wikle will serve as the development leader focusing primarily on speculative industrial and build-to-suit projects.
“Ryan’s industrial sector continues to be one of our core competencies in the Southeast, and as we look to expand into new markets across the region, having an experienced leader like Bill on our team is important to our success,” said Doug Dieck, President of Ryan Companies’ Southeast Region. “Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and depth of experience and leadership in the industry to our firm, and we’re thrilled to have him be part of our growth story.”
Wikle joins the Ryan leadership team with over 30 years of transactional and financial experience in industrial real estate. He has worked within key markets across the country, having completed over 500 transactions in more than 30 states for various clients. Wikle previously served as the Senior Director at Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the largest occupier of industrial space in the country. For his work, he was honored as the top producing associate in the firm’s Atlanta office in 2019. Prior to Lee & Associates, Wikle held the position of Partner at NC Partners LLC, overseeing the firm’s client account with a Fortune 500 food production and distribution company.
“Throughout my career, I have developed and maintained relationships with some of the leading commercial users across the country, and Ryan’s expansive portfolio of long-time clients exemplifies the same commitment to building meaningful relationships,” said Wikle. “Ryan’s breadth and depth within the industrial development and build-to-suit space excites me as I join a team of true leaders in the industry. I look forward to diving in to expand our development footprint across the Southeast and build upon the client roster already in our arsenal.”
Wikle graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a Cooperative Designation in Civil Engineering and a minor focus in economics. He is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the Warehousing and Economic Research Council. Wikle is also involved in community organizations, including Johnson Ferry Church, JFBC Children’s RA Ministry, and the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association.
