Chef Danny Grant’s restaurant group, What If Syndicate, began expanding from Chicago to Arizona in 2019, and now the group has major growth plans that include 14 restaurants around the country by the end of 2022. Although many of the planned eateries are expansions of the Maple & Ash and Etta brands, Grant aims to give each location a unique feel by tailoring the design and menu to suit each location.
