Dryvit Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) in North America, unveils Finesse™ finish. This new textured finish is trowel applied and resembles the smooth look of pre-cast concrete. It is available in 288 standard colors as well as custom colors and utilizes the “Color at Your Fingertips” formulas, Dryvit’s proprietary pigment formulas and color matching process.
“Architects and contractors are constantly looking for new ways to create durable, affordable and beautiful buildings, and Finesse offers another option,” said Barbara Catlow, director of marketing communications. “Finesse is one of our smoothest finishes and meets the market demand for a cost and energy effective alternate to pre-cast concrete.”
Finesse is the newest member of the Dryvit line of textured acrylic finishes (TAFS). Other available texture options resemble the look of brick, stucco, metal panels, limestone and granite. The finish includes dirt pick-up resistant (DPR) chemistry that ensures the wall will remain cleaner longer. Finesse finish can be used over masonry, stucco, pre-cast, cast-in-place concrete and interior walls.
Finesse finish is used as the final component of any Dryvit Outsulation® system. Outsulation by Dryvit is the most energy efficient wall system available. It includes an air/water-resistive barrier, continuous insulation, a reinforced base coat and a durable, decorative finish. The system is fully tested, meets NFPA 285 standards, exceeds the 2012 IECC Energy Code, is installed by one contractor (flashing to finish) and is backed by a written performance warranty.
Finesse is currently available at Dryvit distributors throughout the United States and Canada and recently helped a general contractor stay within budget and retain the aesthetic look an architect desired for a car dealership. For more information, please visit Dryvit.com.
