Levi Strauss looks to open more stores this year to take advantage of vacant retail space and further its goal of expanding direct-to-consumer sales from 40% to 60% of total revenue. The fashion brand operates 40 full-line stores and 200 outlets in the US, and new locations will be smaller-format NextGen stores that will use machine learning tech to manage inventory.
