The Korte Co., which is based in St. Louis, Mo., is about to build a $46.3 million, 200-room hotel at the naval station in Newport, R.I. The Navy Gateway Inns & Suites is expected to open in April 2017 and become the main check-in area for base lodging. Read the St. Louis Post-Dispatch story here
