Chick-fil-A retained its title as top U.S. chicken chain last year, widening its lead over rival KFC, which is still much larger internationally, according to Technomic. Chick-fil-A’s 1,775 stores did $5.05 billion in sales last year, compared to $4.22 billion at KFC’s 4,438 restaurants. Read the ABC News/The Associated Press story here
