DirectBuy Home Improvement, which acquired home furnishings retailer Z Gallerie for $20.3 million in a May bankruptcy auction, plans to close 27 more stores, leaving the chain with 34 locations, according to The Dallas Morning News. DirectBuy is a subsidiary of CSC Generation, which last year bought Bon-Ton’s intellectual property and department store banners.
