Pebblebrook Hotel Trust and LaSalle Hotel Properties have completed their $5.2 billion merger after approval by both companies’ shareholders last week. Pebblebrook also announced the sale of five hotel properties for $820.8 million, two of which were made under its previously announced plan to dispose of $750 million to $1.25 billion of hotels in the six to 12 months after the deal’s closure.
