Just in time for the start of a new school year, Action Roofing, one of Florida’s largest roofing companies, donated essential school supplies to more than 170 children at the Boys & Girls Club of Citrus and Marion Counties. Children ages 6 to 12 each received pens, pencils, glue, and notebooks during a special event, held on July 31. In addition to supplies, children celebrated the end of summer with a full day of indoor and outdoor games and activities, capping the event with a pizza party for children and their families.

The Boys & Girls Club of Citrus and Marion Counties provides Ocala youth with a safe, caring, and engaging environment where children receive homework support from certified teachers, participate in STEM activities, explore the arts, develop leadership skills, and enjoy sports and recreational programming year-round. This marks the second consecutive year Action Roofing has supported the club’s end of summer party.
