Skender has completed the 83,000-square-foot buildout of Harrison Street Asset Management’s new headquarters at The Fulton in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood.
Serving as general contractor, Skender completed the three-floor headquarters at 919 W. Fulton Market in just 26 weeks. The real estate and infrastructure investment management firm is relocating from its previous offices at 444 W. Lake Street.
Designed by SCB, the new headquarters provides Harrison Street Asset Management with a more flexible and functional workplace. The buildout includes an atrium stair connecting the main levels, a dedicated executive suite, private offices, open work areas and expansive terrace spaces.
A central café featuring a full bar and built-in audiovisual system also provides a gathering space capable of accommodating companywide meetings.
The design incorporates an urban, industrial aesthetic inspired by the surrounding Fulton Market neighborhood while creating a workplace designed to support collaboration and the firm’s long-term needs.
“We were so pleased to be able to assist Harrison Street Asset Management with their reimagined headquarters,” Skender Senior Project Manager Brian Eddy says. “They now have a space that will inspire their people and support the organization long into the future.”
Skender also served as general contractor for the 535,000-square-foot base building, which completed construction in April. The amenity-rich development includes several office tenants along with Gibson’s Steakhouse and Equinox Fitness.
The WELL- and LEED Silver-certified property is the only Class A office building to break ground in Chicago since 2023.
