AprilAire Launches Healthy Air Intelligence Home Monitor

AprilAire, the leader in Healthy Air solutions, introduces the AprilAire Wi-Fi Healthy Air Monitor (Model ZAWTHCPV) – the only indoor air quality sensor on the market to detect unhealthy conditions based on a proprietary algorithm utilizing both the U.S. EPA standards and real-time data trends. This industry-leading 5-in-1 monitor senses fine inhalable particles (PM2.5), fumes (total volatile organic compounds or “TVOC”), the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2), humidity (RH%), and temperature to provide a complete picture of your home’s indoor air quality.

Its patented Healthy Air Intelligence™ takes the value and functionality of an air monitor to a whole new level. From real-time alerts to easy tips and custom controls, this innovative technology not only monitors a home’s air, but it also understands it. Gaining a more intelligent understanding of air quality opens the door to automatically resolving issues as they are detected.

“Once deeper insights into the air quality are gained through the Air Monitor, users can choose to add a smart thermostat with IAQ control to automatically resolve issues,” stated Kyle Nelson, Senior Product Manager, AprilAire Product Management. “The Air Monitor is designed to work seamlessly with the AprilAire Wi-Fi Thermostat Model S86WMUPR or 8920W (sold separately). By placing the thermostat in Healthy Air Mode, the monitor can be integrated with industry-leading AprilAire air purification and/or ventilation solutions (sold separately) to address issues when detected.”
