The commercial flooring community is mourning the loss of Tom Dancel, Territory Manager at LSI Flooring, who passed away on February 13 following a long illness.
Dancel spent 11 years with Lane Sales, Inc. (LSI Flooring), where he was known for his dedication to his customers, strong industry relationships and unwavering work ethic. Prior to joining LSI, he built a respected career with Coronet and Beaulieu Mills, earning the trust of colleagues and clients throughout the flooring sector.
Throughout his career, Dancel was recognized not only for his professionalism, but also for the personal connections he cultivated across the industry. He was deeply committed to serving his customers and took great pride in the partnerships he built over the years.
Above all, he cherished his family, friends and the many relationships formed during his decades in the flooring business.
He is survived by his wife, Tana, three daughters and seven grandchildren.
Wake services will be held Thursday, February 19, from 4–6 p.m. at Lofland Funeral Home.
