Q-PAC to Showcase Multimotor Plenum Fan at AHR Expo,Booth #SU3536

Q-PAC, a leader in the design and manufacturing of commercial HVAC fan systems, will showcase the Q-PAC Multimotor Plenum Fan (MPF) at this year’s AHR Expo, taking place February 2nd – 4th in Las Vegas, NV, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Visit booth #SU3536 in the South Hall Upper to learn how the Q-PAC MPF is setting a new benchmark in fan performance, reliability, and installation ease, and see live demonstrations of a fully operational multimotor plenum fan.

Designed as a total fan system rather than a loosely assembled fan array, the Q-PAC Fan delivers superior airflow and inherent resiliency for critical infrastructure in healthcare, education, commercial buildings, and other high-demand comfort cooling environments. If one motor falters, the remaining motors can adjust to keep the fan running, preventing full system shutdowns and maintaining continuous airflow during unexpected equipment or environmental issues.

Unlike traditional belt-driven blowers or conventional fan arrays that require complex field wiring and introduce multiple points of failure, the Q-PAC Fan is a single, well-engineered product with a compact footprint and straightforward assembly. Delivered as a complete kit with pre-wired configurations, the fan reduces coordination and labor during assembly and simplifies transport, installation, and maintenance in space-constrained retrofit applications.

At the core of the Q-PAC Fan is the patented Fan Controller, which consolidates power distribution, motor control, and communications into a single connection point inside the airstream. Requiring only three-phase power and a 0–10V control signal, the Controller provides fused motor protection, motor alarm status, analog airflow reporting, and support for Modbus RTU and BACnet IP to integrate with building management systems or existing control panels.

The modular design and prewired harnesses streamline installation in both new air handlers and retrofits, with a compact footprint that fits tight mechanical rooms. The most powerful MPFs can deliver up to 90,000 CFM and anywhere between 1-9 in. w.c. of static pressure. Systems can be scaled beyond 350,000 CFM by combining multiple Q-PAC Fans, giving building owners a flexible platform without the wiring complexity of conventional arrays.

Available in drop-in or knockdown configurations, the Q-PAC Fan supports a turnaround from configuration to shipment that outpaces traditional HVAC fans. Standard production is typically completed in three weeks, with an optional 48-Hour Quick Build in the event of a catastrophic failure, giving facility managers a fast path to replacement in high-stakes environments such as healthcare, education, transportation, and commercial real estate.

Visitors at booth #SU3536 will have the opportunity to speak directly with Q-PAC engineers about real-world fan applications and discuss ongoing advancements with Q-PAC’s research and development team. The team will also share insights into future product developments and the exciting new research being conducted in Q-PAC’s state-of-the-art airflow tunnel, a product set to push the boundaries of fan and airflow technology.
