Roseburg Forest Products is pleased to announce that Phil Pierot will join the company as Business Manager – Simsboro, effective Sept. 11, 2017.
Phil has spent the past 28 years in the wood products industry, most recently with Arauco North America, where he served as National Sales Manager.
“Phil is a strong talent, who is very familiar with Simsboro and its primary market,” said Jim Buffington, Roseburg’s Director of Composite Sales. “He will be a great addition to our already strong sales team, and we are excited to have him on board.”
Phil’s deep experience in particleboard sales and his knowledge of market challenges will be critical as Roseburg and other manufacturers adjust to the expanded manufacturing capacity created by several new mills, Vice President of Composite Business Mark Avery said.
Phil will relocate to Louisiana from North Carolina. He will report to Jim Buffington, Director of Composite Sales.
