Golfsmith will open its first South Carolina store in Columbia on May 3, according to Global Newswire. The 23,500-square-foot store is part of the retailer’s aggressive growth strategy in the Carolinas. Adding to its current Raleigh location, the company recently expanded with new stores in Charlotte and Greensboro, and another is slated to open in Myrtle Beach later this spring.
