AccorHotels and Banyan Tree Holdings‘ co-development agreement could provide a template for smaller hotel operators to remain independent while working with the industry’s largest players, according to HotelsMag.com. Accor has taken a 5% stake in Banyan Tree to partner on new properties in the Banyan Tree, Angsana, Cassia and Dhawa brands.
