Safe Use of Safety Nets

Safe Use of Safety Nets

“‘Safe Use of Safety Nets’

Construction sites pose a huge number of risks to workers. One of the main risks is often the height at which employees work.

Many accidents occur at comparatively small heights, with increasing risk of injury the higher the work.

Often, the use of machinery, e.g. cherry pickers, can massively decrease the risk that comes at working from a height. However, when this machines are not used, to minimise the risk of injury you should ensure that scaffold netting, or some other such netting is put in place so that, in the event that someone does fall, there’s a soft landing.

This infographic outlines how to utilize safety netting around a construction site to ensure minimal risk of an accident occurring.”
