Connecticut’s Hotel Marcel New Haven has earned LEED Platinum status from the US Green Building Council for meeting the highest level of environmental standards, marking only the 10th time a hotel has attained the certification. The 165-room net-zero hotel, which is part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, uses no fossil fuels and is powered by over 1,000 solar panels. New Haven Independent
