The Townhomes at The Richardson Estate are about to become a reality. The developers, a joint venture of Urban Spaces, LLC and Diamond Sinacori, LLC have announced that construction is starting soon for the 12-townhome development on Brookline’s Fisher Hill and overlooking the recently enhanced Brookline Reservoir.
The architecture of the development is as sophisticated and forward-thinking as Brookline itself. Each of the 12 townhomes will have individual garaged parking and a stunning direct water view of the reservoir. The development also features a renovated single-family home that is unique in terms of its bucolic and private setting.
Like another multifamily development in the area, Fisher Hill Estates, The Townhomes at The Richardson Estate will be aimed at “empty-nesters,” who wish to remain in the area without the need to perform maintenance and other tasks associated with single-family home ownership. The townhomes are also perfect for young professionals with families who wish to take advantage of the private schools in the area or attend the nearby and highly regarded Brookline High School.
Paul Ognibene, the CEO of Urban Spaces, noted, “we couldn’t be more excited to continue our tradition of developing important sites in a manner that is environmentally sensitive and inclusive of neighborhood ideas and input. Our planning and design were the result of both.”
All of the townhomes are spacious and allow for “aging in place” with accommodations for an elevator in each home. The grounds, sloping up from the reservoir, will become a park-like setting for residents and visitors alike. Stone retaining walls and ample green space will complement the architecture and add to the unique character of this new development.
The Townhomes at The Richardson Estate promise to be something quite different from past offerings in Brookline. As Paul Ognibene put it, “we’re committed to enhancing our team’s reputation for unique and beautiful responses to challenging opportunities.”
The townhomes are unpriced at this writing, but the developers expect a robust pre-completion marketing and sales initiative– especially given the site, the townhomes, the view, and the lack of competitive inventory in Brookline.
