Virgin Mobile, a carrier of Sprint Nextel Corp., plans to open its first-ever bricks-and-mortar stores. According to a Bloomberg report, Virgin, which had previously relied on retailers, such as RadioShack and Best Buy, to market its service, will open its first 10 stores in Chicago. The Chicago outlets could lead to a national rollout.
