Viridian Reclaimed Wood today announced the introduction of Antique Barnwood tables, wall paneling and flooring, according to Viridian co-owner Pierce Henley.
Sourced from an all-American mix of reclaimed oak from dismantled barns, the solid wood products accentuate the best aspects of the wood’s rough-and-tumble past: the circle-sawn marks, nail holes and timeworn character. Viridian precision-crafts them to get the optimum combination of reclaimed style and functional performance.
“This is a true rustic finish milled from the beam face,” Henley said. “We capture the vintage spirit while making products suitable for both commercial and residential environments.”
Antique Barnwood tables are made in many common sizes up to 34” wide and 96” long, as well as custom-sized countertops. Options include a full rustic face or a skip-planed smoother surface; completely smooth face white oak tables with a vintage patina are also available.
All tables include hidden angle iron to stay flat and a durable prefinish suitable for heavy-use restaurant environments. Tables are a beefy 2” thick, and their hardness is 1290-1360 on the Janka Scale. Matching and complementary flooring and paneling options are also available.
Antique Barnwood flooring, which can also be used as paneling, comes in a ¾” thickness, mixed 4”-6” widths, and variable lengths from 2’-8’. Its hardness is 860-1360 on the Janka Scale.
