Atlanta’s Candler Building to start new life as Hilton Curio hotel

For 100 years it has been home to the city’s “finest baths” (back when that was a selling point), the law offices of famed attorney Johnnie Cochran, and a bank vault rumored to have briefly held the formula for Coke. But in two months, the Candler Building, with its grand marble staircase, brass gargoyles, detailed friezes and Tiffany windows, will become Atlanta’s newest boutique hotel.
