Cuhaci Peterson is proud to announce its Senior Vice President of Design, Steven Duffy, will be one of the featured speakers at this year’s FMI Energy and Store Development Conference in Orlando. The three-day event on September 19-21 at the Renaissance Orlando at Sea World will explore key trends impacting food retail, energy use and management, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR), store development and sustainability.
While the firm has been regular attendees of the event in the past, this year’s attendance has more of a special meaning after a hiatus.
“After two years of the E+sd Conference suspension we’re pleased to resume and reconnect with our many partners and the grocers we serve,” said Steven Duffy, senior vice president of design. “We’re really looking forward to the face-to-face interaction with old friends and new connections.”
Duffy will collaborate with Mike Futch, chief executive officer of Tomkins Robotics, to discuss store development through e-commerce solutions and design. The discussion will address challenges and trends while providing solutions to operate efficiently in a radically different retail environment.
“It’s a timely occasion to consider the future of grocery and how to transform the business and deliver food to customers. The industry has evolved, and priorities have shifted the last two years,” Duffy noted. “FMI is a trusted voice in the food industry with an eye to looking over the next hill and we’re proud to educate and be part of the experience,” he said.
