Despite some concerns about the economy, Hard Rock International is surging toward a goal of managing or franchising 100 hotels on several continents by 2020. Hard Rock executives say about 130 deals are in some stage of development. In December, the Orlando, Fla.-based company opened 22 hotels and signed management or franchise deals with 20 more.
