KMI 062222

KMI International is proud to announce that Assistant Project Manager, Nicole Eligah (Elijah), has been appointed to the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Greater Orlando Chapter’s Board of Directors. Eligah (Elijah) will serve as one of six Directors for the association, where her collaborative mindset and extensive construction knowledge will contribute to NAWIC’s support network. A celebratory Installation Banquet is scheduled for September 24, 2022.
“This appointment represents the arduous work ethic Nicole exemplifies at KMI,” said Eric Quinn, Chief Executive Officer at KMI International. “We couldn’t be more proud of her appointment to such an impactful association advancing women in construction, and we can’t wait to see what she does next to impact the community.”
Eligah is a former project coordinator with several years of construction estimating experience. She has been with KMI for two years and has significantly impacted the firm’s people-first collaborative approach with her open-mindedness toward team input and leadership. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Indian River State College.
“Being appointed to the NAWIC Greater Orlando Chapter’s Board of Directors is a huge honor,” said Eligah, “Joining this talented group of women leaders is a fantastic opportunity for my career, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team at KMI.”

About NAWIC Greater Orlando
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. Sixteen women working in the construction industry founded it in 1953. Knowing that women represented only a small fraction of the construction industry, the founders organized NAWIC to create a support network. Women in Construction of Fort Worth was so successful that it gained its national charter in 1955 and became the National Association of Women in Construction. Today, NAWIC provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service and more.
