Despite the recent heat wave, exterior work continued this week at the former McCamly Plaza Hotel in downtown Battle Creek. Gone is the McCamly Plaza Hotel lettering that was affixed to the side of the 16-story high-rise, which is undergoing a $59-million rebrand and renovation that’s expected to be complete by the third quarter of 2023.
