Parasoleil, manufacturers and designers of architectural panels has named Austin Hanson as Director of Operations.
Mr. Hanson who had been Construction Coordinator at Sobo Home, Inc. will be in charge of managing all aspects of Parasoleil’s order fulfillment.
“The new role of Director of Operations is a key addition to our team, and an important part of managing the project details as we grow through 2015 and beyond. Austin’s experience in complex and detailed projects combined with his architect’s eye will help enhance and refine our customers experience from order through delivery,” noted Uriah Bueller, CEO of Parasoleil.
Before joining Parasoleil, Mr. Hanson held positions with Sobo Homes, Inc., Hanson Sustainable Carpentry, AJH Designs, and University of Colorado at Denver. Mr. Hanson holds a Masters of Architecture from University of Colorado Denver, and a BS in Environmental Science/Policy Concentration from Elon University.
He is an avid hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and international travel enthusiast. He and his wife Sarah live in Boulder, CO.
 
Mr. DeVries, who had been President, USA at Figueras International Seating will be in charge of managing and increasing Parasoleil’s network of sales representatives and strategic business partners. Parasoleil, which has been focused on outdoor shade installations, will expand it efforts nationally and to new markets including commercial, hospitality, and public installations.
Mr. DeVries will spearhead this drive. “The expansion of our sales rep and distribution team further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of our customers,” noted Uriah Bueller, CEO of Parasoleil. “Robert’s comprehensive understanding manufacturing sales and marketing will greatly benefit Parasoleil, our sales network, and our clients. This is an exciting time in our company.”
Before joining Parasoleil, Mr. DeVries oversaw marketing, sales, and production for Figueras USA, where he put together that company’s distribution network. While at Figueras, he led the team to unprecedented sales results and market share gain.
Prior to Figueras, he worked for American Seating and Via Seating, along with a successful business consulting venture helping a wide variety of start-up companies.
Mr. Sweeney has a BS in Business Management and Finance from the University of Colorado He is an avid hiking, back wood skiing, mountain biking, and climbing enthusiast. He and his wife Melissa live in Denver, CO.
