InterContinental Hotels Group will expand in Caribbean

InterContinental Hotels Group says it has added four hotels to its development pipeline in the Caribbean region — one under the Crowne Plaza brand, one with the Holiday Inn Express flag and two carrying the Holiday Inn flag. IHG has about 3,100 rooms set to come online in the Caribbean and Latin American regions. The hotel firm also unveiled plans to upgrade two of its upscale resorts in the region — the 938-room InterContinental San Juan hotel and the 597-room Holiday Inn Resort Aruba.
