Officials have approved a plan to add 14 gates, an on-site hotel and a parking garage at Mineta San Jose International Airport in California. Declining traffic during the coronavirus pandemic is not a decisive factor for the project, which includes runway and taxiway upgrades and cargo and general aviation facilities.
