Officials have rolled out a long-awaited plan for reconstruction of the home of the New York Philharmonic and Lincoln Center and say work begins in 2022. The $550 million project will be undertaken in phases and will focus on the interior, including the addition of public spaces, with the result renamed David Geffen Hall in honor of the man who spurred the renewal with a $100 million donation.
