3 Hyatt Place hotels sold to BPR Properties

BPR Properties has purchased the Hyatt Place North Raleigh/Midtown and Hyatt Place Greensboro in North Carolina and the Hyatt Place Columbia/Harbison in South Carolina, with a total of 378 rooms. The $30 million acquisition is part of BPR’s plan to use its newly formed hospitality capital management firm, Piedmont Summit Capital, to acquire hotel assets. Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
