New York has released three designs for the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement that “resemble two pairs of tuning forks, a regatta, and a cream-colored version of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.” Price estimates for them range between $3.14 billion and $4 billion, less than the estimated $5 billion.
