Sears will close another 28 Kmart stores as it continues to cut costs and trim its real estate holdings in a push to return to profitability. The retailer, which reported an 11.5% drop in second-quarter same-store sales, has shuttered 180 stores this year, and earlier, the company announced plans for 150 more closures.
