Kansas City, Missouri’s plan for a streetcar line extension north to the Missouri River area will receive $14.2 million from the Federal Transit Administration. The FTA previously granted $50 million for a southern extension of the line, and work on that is expected to begin as soon as late next year. Read The Kansas City Star story here
