Wendy’s has created a smaller format with the rebuilding of a company-owned unit near Columbus, Ohio. The restaurant, which costs as much as $300,000 less to build than a standard Wendy’s and could be a prototype for future locations, features counter seating, an outdoor patio and separate ordering and pickup areas.
