Walmart has invested more than $500 million in 117 store remodels across 30 states as part of a two-year, $9 billion makeover initiative covering 1,400 stores. The upgraded locations feature more space for online pickup and delivery orders, more shopping carts and checkout lanes, expanded pharmacies, a Mother’s Room for nursing, Dollar Shop sections showcasing seasonal products, a wider grab-and-go assortment and interactive displays.
