An unexpected company has built and is managing the new, independent Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida: the UF Health Shands hospital system. The luxury hotel was sanitizing before sanitizing was cool (or necessary during the pandemic), with key staff trained in literal hospital-grade cleaning at UF Health, no cross-contamination of cleaning supplies between rooms and inspection seals affixed to guest room doors to be removed by the next guest.
