A spaceship-like hotel has broken ground in Baker, Calif., a vision of businessman Luis Ramallo. However, he still needs to raise funding for the $30 million for the project to advance, which is why he has begun a Kickstarter campaign. The hotel will have 31 alien-themed rooms and a similarly themed lobby, restaurant, nightclub and spa. Read the American City Business Journals/Los Angeles story here
