Trader Joe’s holds the top spot among supermarkets and drug stores in Fordham University‘s American Innovation Index. Other top-ranking grocers and drug stores in the consumer survey-based index include Whole Foods Market, Publix Super Markets, ALDI, CVS, Kroger, Albertsons, Walgreen, Safeway and Rite Aid.
