The Marcus Foundation has awarded Trade Talks USA a $250,000 grant to continue its efforts in helping address the critical shortage of skilled trade workers.

The Home Depot’s Path to Pro has provided statistics around skilled trade workers- see below.

300k+ jobs were available in 2021
10x more trade jobs available in seven years
3M jobs available by 2028
40% of construction workers to retire by 2031
Median wage of carpenter helpers is 7%+ the national average
US skilled workers under 25 decreased by 4% between 2018-2019
94% of contractors are struggling to find skilled workers
