Thirty-eight states and Washington, D.C., added construction jobs to their rosters between November 2013 November of 2014, according to a study by the Associated General Contractors of America. Texas saw a 7.7 percent increase in jobs – the most in the country – while West Virginia lost the most, cutting jobs by 11.3 percent. Read The Times-Picayune story here
