Scope: In addition to serving as the home field for two major league soccer teams and the Texas Southern University Tigers football team, PNC Stadium in Houston fills its calendar and its stands throughout the year with a robust schedule of events from concerts to monster truck rallies.
To maximize the usability and profitability of the state-of-the-art, open air venue, the Sightline Commercial Solutions team worked with facility owners to transform a standard section of bleachers at the south end of the stadium into a modular, five-tier VIP seating area.
Using portable, weather resistant Clima-Core™ platforms combined with stainless steel Tensiline™ cable guardrail, we created a temporary seating section that can be retrofit directly over the existing bleachers, without obstructing sightlines, to add flexibility and premium viewing space. Adding to the appeal of the new section are comfortable swivel chairs and tables, allowing fans to follow the action on the field surrounded by comfort and convenience.
In addition to creating a custom seating solution, our team provided full-service project support, including securing permits and working directly with other vendors and sub-contractors to ensure everything was delivered and installed on time.
