Toro Development Company (“TDC”) announced today four retailers, one restaurant and a neighborhood grocer have signed on to Medley, the 43-acre mixed-use destination coming to Johns Creek’s Town Center. The newest additions, including Sephora, Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill, High Country Outfitters, BODYROK and Petfolk, bring the retail mix to 25 best-in-class brands and the project to almost 75% leased.

“With Medley, we are not building buildings, we are building a community,” said TDC’s Chief Vision Officer Mark Toro. “To do it right, we know every detail matters, and we are hand selecting retail experiences that create a highly energized destination for Johns Creek.”
The newly announced concepts include:
  • Sephoraa leader in prestige omni-retail with the purpose of creating an inviting beauty shopping experience featuring over 400 brands, an innovative store design and expertly trained beauty advisors.
  • Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grilla locally owned restaurant designed as a warm, neighborhood meeting place, known for its beloved meat, seafood and pasta fare and award-winning wine, all served at a reasonable price. This will be the second location for the executive chef and founder Darren Henderson, with his first in Downtown Alpharetta.
  • High Country Outfitters, an Atlanta-based outdoor apparel retailer with almost 50 years of experience carrying more than 100 top brands such as Patagonia, Free Fly, On Running, Vuori and YETI.
  • BODYROK, a fitness studio featuring 45-minute Pilates-inspired, full-body, strength training group classes on the custom BODYROK reformer. This will be the second location for local owner, Anne Brandenburg, following her first at Southern Post in Roswell.
  • Petfolk, a modern veterinary practice delivers gold standard care with revolutionary design, and unrivaled compassion—pet care redefined for the love of your best friend. Offering urgent care, wellness visits, surgery, dental and 24/7 virtual support.
  • A yet-to-be-named neighborhood grocer (more details to be announced next year).
“The retail experience at Medley is taking shape beautifully, now with world-class brands like Sephora and a highly anticipated grocer joining a lineup that already features the best mix of F&B and fitness and service offerings in the area,” said TDC’s Vice President of Leasing Kimberly Goetz. “From the beginning, our goal was to bring the ‘A-player’ in every category to Medley. As we secure Medley’s final tenants, we are realizing our vision of creating a mixed-use environment that is undeniably fresh, energetic and special for the Johns Creek community.”
Previously announced tenants for Medley include Ford Fry’s Little Rey, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, Fadó Irish Pub, Summit Coffee, Lily Sushi Bar, Knuckies Hoagies, Cookie Fix, Sugarcoat Beauty, BODY20, AYA Medical Spa, 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar, Five Daughters Bakery, Drybar® Shops, Minnie Olivia, Burdlife, Amorino, Pause Studio, Fogón and Lions and Clean Your Dirty Face®.
TDC recently announced it secured financing for the project, paving the way for Medley’s groundbreaking in January 2025. Already TDC has razed an existing 350,000-square-foot office building to prepare the site for construction. Medley’s grand opening is planned for late 2026.
Medley will encompass 150,000 square feet of walkable retail, restaurant and entertainment space, a 175-key boutique hotel, 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office, 750 multifamily residences, 133 townhomes and an activated 25,000-square-foot Plaza. The site also features a 4-story office building that is being renovated and incorporated into the master plan to create a commute-worthy workplace.
Notably, Medley represents an important part of Johns Creek’s 192-acre Town Center Vision and Plan, which will weave together quality housing, restaurants, retail and offices through new public pathways and parks. TDC will infuse its signature approach to resort-style hospitality, entertainment and community building at Medley, which includes hosting approximately 200 events per year, ranging from outdoor wellness classes and live music to art festivals and watch parties.
