Stone Martin Commercial, a division of Stone Martin Builders, a leading homebuilder in Alabama, completed construction on its first ground up build project, the Wyndham Industrial Warehouse in Opelika, Alabama. This achievement signifies Stone Martin Commercial’s successful expansion into the commercial construction sector.

The 18,000 square foot industrial warehouse priced at $1,800,000 is located at 3000 Wyndham Industrial Drive. The project includes 18-foot ceilings, one dock-high door/loading zone, and four drive-in grade-level doors and took 6 months to complete, officially finishing on February 24, 2025.  The industrial manufacturing building will be utilized as a state-of-the-art facility for Atlanta Flooring Design Centers, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business growth in the region.

“This project represents a significant step for Stone Martin Commercial as we expand our capabilities into the commercial sector,” say Drew Brown, VP of Commercial Construction, Stone Martin Commercial. “Our focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction is central to our approach, ensuring that every client receives exceptional service and support throughout the construction process.”

Project work continues

Brown launched Stone Martin Commercial in 2024 with several renovation projects in the Opelika region, including a new headquarters for parent company, Stone Martin Builders.  Its entry into the commercial construction market is poised to contribute to local economic growth, create jobs, and provide businesses with state-of-the-art facilities for their operations.

Stone Martin Commercial’s focus on innovative and efficient processes, combined with a deep understanding of the local market, positions them as a trusted partner for businesses looking to build the next chapter of their journey.

Stone Martin Commercial is set to embark on its next projects, including a buildout for ServisFirst Bank in Auburn and multiple projects for the City of Opelika, further solidifying its commitment to delivering exceptional commercial construction services.

Stone Martin Commercial, a division of Stone Martin Builders, focuses on commercial construction projects in the Auburn/Opelika area. With a focus on medium and small-scale projects, the company leverages its parent company’s reputation and expertise to deliver quality and innovative solutions.
